Gracely Hill, home of the Beaver Dam Farm Sunflower Festival, was born after The Monaghan’s realized what a sweet slice of heaven they were positioned on with mountain views like no other. Since hosting the Beaver Dam Farm Sunflower Festival and receiving so much positive feedback, they realized they needed to share more of this view and the family farm with others.
Work began in the winter of 2021 to transform the old, three sided machine-shed into a rustic, enclosed barn to host events. Over the course of the next few years construction and additions were made to bring the barn to what it is today. Electric and water were added, the front of the barn was enclosed, changing rooms and a warming kitchen were added as well.
When it came time to name the venue, it seemed fitting to use their children’s middle names, Grace and Riley (Gracely) since it will be a part of their legacy.
