Field of Heroes

This September marks the 25th anniversary since the tragic events of 9/11—our nation’s deadliest attack since Pearl Harbor.
To honor the brave men and women who gave their lives that day, Sirens & Salutes is partnering with the Sunflower Festival to present a powerful tribute: Field of Heroes.

Visit the festival and walk among 406 American flags, each bearing the name of a first responder who made the ultimate sacrifice while rescuing others on 9/11.

Join us in honoring their courage, reflecting on their legacy, and remembering their heroism during the 2025 Sunflower Festival.

This display will be visible during open hours of the sunflower festival only.
